T-Max - yes!
T-Max is the best fine grain B&W film out there imo
Gregg Humphrey 07-Feb-2006 at 22:10Congratulations on getting such an image from T-Max. I tried for over a decade to get this film to do what I want. Settled now with Efke 100, Tri-X, & Neopan 400 since APX is no more.

I like Tmax well enough but find the look not "classic" enough for me. Too "digital-" and smooth- looking in many instances, for me anyway. I prefer Fuji Acros lately when I want tight grain and sharpness. Otherwise Neopan 400 or Tri-X.
Richard Sintchak 08-Feb-2006 at 07:57Thanks everybody...
As for me I usually use ILFORD HP5+ and delta 400. Last week I've got a good deal for T-MAX and now putting it to work. The results are amazing and T-MAX will definitely settle in my refregerator
Arseni Kar 08-Feb-2006 at 14:13I agree with Ritchard
It's too digital for me,I prefer HP5+
